There are a ton of great parenting resources that folks have recommended to us and that we've found since the birth of our child. Below are some of the books and web sites that we've found extremely helpful and full of great advice.

What To Expect In The First Year
	If you only buy one parenting book, this should be it. Step by step instruction and everything you need to know about children from birth to one year. This is the second in the "What to Expect" series of books and is a good complement if you have already purchased What to Expect When You are Expecting.
Baby Bargains
	If you want to buy the right stuff and don't want to waste money on crap, buy this book! Every new parent we know has bought a copy because of its great reviews and excellent recommendations.
Good Night, Sleep Tight
	This is another must have book that has significantly improved our family's quality of life dramatically. It's never too early to start sleep training, and this book gives you the tips and tools to succeed. This book teaches a kinder, gentler way of helping your baby learn to sleep- perfect for parents that would rather not let their childern "cry it out".
Nursing Mother's Companion
	If you only buy one parenting book, this should be it. Step by step instruction and everything you need to know about children from birth to one year. The Portable Pediatrician
	This book has gotten a lot of use in our household. A complete reference to diagnose and understand most ailments and other health issues your child may experience. A must have for your parenting bookshelf.
Super Baby Food
	If you are like us, you will want to provide fresh and nutritious meals to your baby at each stage of their development. While this book is a bit disorganized, it has a great deal of good information and ideas on making food for your baby (as well as some swell suggestions on how to make your own deodorant and soap if you are so inspired).
The New Father
	This book is perfect for dads that don't want to sift through a bunch of books and articles to learn about parenting. A great and entertaining read, The New Father hits all the major issues regarding being a dad and addresses them in a funny but educational manner.
Babies By The Bay
	Babies by the Bay is another excellent resource focusing on local parenting knowledge. This book has it all, from local listings to health care recommendations to schooling.
